I find the places most people never hear about.
I plan the trip that feels like it was made for you, because it was.
And I take care of every detail, so all you have to do is show up, and let go.

Nine expert tips for sustainable travel and eco-friendly holidaysQuoted · March 2026Miranda Seymour is the founder of Seymour Escapes, a bespoke luxury travel business, planning trips worldwide for clients who want something beyond the obvious.
I took my first solo trip when I was nine, to Milan, as a BA unaccompanied minor, to stay with an Italian family. I couldn’t wait to get away from my parents and was thrilled when I was handed over to the air stewardess at the airport and treated like a guest of honour on the plane! I loved every minute of it. Except when my host demoted me from the good napkins to kitchen roll after seeing how I ate spaghetti… Summers after that were spent as a family driving around Europe with a tent (not quite the five star luxury I’ve acquired a taste for today!)
I was lucky enough to pick a career that often sent me travelling abroad. For nearly twenty years I worked in film and TV as an actress and writer, under the name Miranda Hennessy. My favourite days were always the days off: a new city, no call sheet, and hours to explore with no plan at all. I still love to travel by myself when I can. Being on nobody’s schedule but your own is one of life’s greatest luxuries.
Alongside acting, I worked as a PA to CEOs and directors, running their diaries and travel down to the last detail, so I know how busy, high-profile people like to travel, and I treat their plans and personal details in strict confidence.
Some of my favourite travel memories are snowboarding for the first time on Christmas Day in the French Pyrenees (badly, I’m much better on two skis!) Canoeing through the rainforest in Khao Sok, then sleeping on a floating tent on Cheow Lan Lake, and jumping into a freezing cold fjord in the middle of the night in Iceland after seeing the Northern Lights. Seville is still my favourite city, I think I’ve been six or seven times now, and every time I go I manage to find a pretty square I haven’t seen before, or a tapas bar I haven’t been to yet.
I write about my travels on my own blog, The Miranda Edit, and sometimes for the travel press. And now I’m raising another little travel bug: my five year old loves aeroplanes, kids’ clubs and pulpo a la gallega!
I launched Seymour Escapes in 2023 and now I plan extraordinary travel memories for others: safaris, family villas, honeymoons, adventure holidays and group getaways, and I look after all of it from your first enquiry to the moment you’re home. I’m based in London, run my business in partnership with Travel Counsellors, and have been featured in Forbes and The Independent. In 2026 I was proud to be named a TTG Sustainable Travel Hero for my work in responsible travel.

Yes. If it is easier for your assistant to handle the arrangements, I will work with them directly and keep you involved only where you want to be.
Not exactly. Luxury looks different to everyone: a week in a Greek villa with the family and a month across Southern Africa are very different trips, and very different budgets. What they have in common is that the details matter. Tell me what you have in mind and I will tell you honestly what is possible.
It was great, top class hotels and seamless transfers took all the stress out of our holiday. And this was after having had the holiday rescheduled twice. She was on it as soon as the Iran conflict kicked off, securing alternative flights with little change to the bottom line cost of the holiday. If you want a holiday without the grief give Miranda Seymour a call.
An ever moving budget, dates and an idea of where we wanted to go on our honeymoon weren’t easy to deal with but Miranda just dealt with everything professionally, calmly and thoughtfully. The two hotels we stayed in, in Antigua, were beautiful and the recommendations she gave were awesome. Checking us in and getting us the best seats on the plane was also a lovely touch.
Miranda was brilliant. She listened and found the best holiday for us. She handled everything so we didn’t have to worry, she even arranged for a shopping list to be delivered to the villa before we arrived. The villa was beautiful and the perfect location, everything ran smoothly and the boat trips arranged were fantastic. She was available on WhatsApp for any questions we had and we have already booked another holiday with her.
A few lines is plenty to start. I’ll take it from there.
